Moira as an FC did not exist until recently, however we have been roleplaying together along the same storyline for around 2 years now, going into year 3. We are dedicated to keeping the FC small with a focus on quality over quantity, and to ensure that people’s characters are given appropriate levels of development and limelight rather than being lost in swaths of other characters. Though we do not possess an absolute hard and rigid stance on the lore we do adhere to a great level of lore friendliness. Roleplay is about living inside of and experiencing a world, and we would like to make sure that our FC adheres as best as it can when it comes to fitting into the world of XIV. It’s fortunate for us that XIV also allows a great deal of creativity and ingenuity when it comes to making our own roleplay.

We run our events weekly, with casual roleplay and whatever else we can think of sprinkled in. We encourage FC members to approach us with ideas and other suggestions as well as to run their own events and roleplaying sessions for the FC. As stated, our top priority are the characters within the FC, how they interact with the world and each other, and giving them a space in which they can flourish. Our events are run free emote, with some random chance rolling just to spice things up. We encourage our members to freely play and express their characters as they see fit. The purpose of Moira is to curate a space with likeminded people who share this vision of roleplay with us. One that is character-focused, lore rich, and approachable.

​We will happily discuss any character concept with you and are open-minded when it comes to roleplay. Unique ideas are absolutely welcome so long as they fit within the boundaries of the lore. The only thing we bar absolutely is overlap between members. As a small FC, it is imperative to us that each character is unique and has their own identity and niche within our ranks. We have a Gunbreaker already, we would unfortunately not allow another Gunbreaker to join regardless of anything else unfortunately as one example. Experience in roleplay is not a bar for entry, we welcome anyone of any experience level so long as they share our vision. Event attendance is expected at a minimum though we know real life always takes priority and sometimes members will have other commitments.

We are currently open to new members. We don’t have any kind of formal joining process as it seems unnecessary. While we are not always looking for new members, we are always looking for new roleplay, so even if you don’t want to join but you want to roleplay with us, hit us up as well!
